What to include in a request
- Your Stemy version: choose Stemy › About Stemy, or open Stemy › Settings › General › About.
- Your macOS version: choose Apple menu › About This Mac.
- What you did, what happened, and what you expected to happen.
- The steps that make the problem happen again, if you know them.
- If the problem involves a particular song, its file format (for example WAV, AIFF or MP3). Please don't attach audio files unless we ask for them.
- A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see.
LAME source code (LGPL)
Stemy's MP3 export uses the LAME encoder, which is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License. The complete source code for the LAME version Stemy uses already comes with the app, at Stemy.app/Contents/Resources/Acknowledgments/LAME/, together with instructions for replacing it (RELINKING.txt).
Under Section 3.5 of the License Agreement, you can also request those materials by email to the address above, within three years after you obtained Stemy: the complete corresponding source code for LAME, and Stemy in the object-code form in which you received it, so that you can relink it with a modified LAME. We provide them for no more than the cost of performing that distribution. The same applies to any other component listed in the app's Acknowledgments whose license requires such an offer.
